CADline No.1 Autodesk Partner for AutoCAD P&ID - November 2007

Launched at the beginning of August, AutoCAD P&ID has hit the market by storm. CADline is proud to announce that it attained No.1 status in the UK in the first quarter, over-achieving the targets set by Autodesk. Mike Malkin, Business Development Manager for Autodesk Plant Solutions EMEA, commented "CADline has done a great job in bringing AutoCAD P&ID to the market, with creative marketing and enthusiastic sales team they have succeeded in driving new business."

"AutoCAD P&ID sells itself," says Chris Mann, CADline Business Manager for Autodesk Plant. "Once the customer sees a demonstration of the software and realises how easy it is to use and the time savings that can be made over basic AutoCAD, they are sold on it." Following a demonstration to Petrofac Engineering, Kevin Baker, CAD Manager, said "This is the best P&ID package I have ever seen."

AutoCAD P&ID focuses on these 6 key areas:

  • Easy to learn - if you know AutoCAD, you know AutoCAD P&ID
  • Quick editing - drawing objects inherit relationships
  • Data checking - data changes are highlighted in the drawing
  • Sharing - data travels with the DWG, no synchronization required
  • Reporting - tools for managing drawings and generating reports
  • Company standards - comprehensive symbol library that allows customisation
